Hey, I'm still here, in the middle of all these boxes! Don't know how I'll manage to get all this stuff out of here tomorrow, but I'm sure as hell going to try! Haven't lined up internet access at the new place, so this may be my last post for some time. Hopefully it won't take too long, otherwise I may change ISP's.

Products, Studio and Packing
I've been working on a couple of pictures to post and may actually get them up here soon. I've been working on product photography in my class and have to try to get into the studio, along with everything else this weekend. It'd be better if I had more time available than one day, but here I am!
I'm surrounded by boxes and boxes and I'm not quite sure what's in all of them. And there's still stuff to pack, so I better get off this and get back to it!

I Dig A Pony
You can celebrate anything you want, but I'd really like one of these in my driveway!

Moving
Well I'm surrounded by boxes and thinking do I really need all this stuff? It's funny how you just sort of wind up with all this stuff and only when you move do you realize how much stuff you really have. Do I bring everything with me and sort it out later? Or do I just dump all but the essentials and regret all the stuff I used to have? It's a tough choice, especially since I've known I was moving for a couple of months. Packing doesn't seem to be an exact science, grab a box, fill it, then move it somewhere and unpack it. For example I've packed all of my CD's and there's a song I want to listen to, but it's not on my computer. Guess I'll have to wait until I'm settled to hear it!

What Is Music?
Music is life, it is our soul, it surrounds us with its' presence. It can be devine, it can be demonic, it can be devoid of meaning or purpose. It can be the birds singing sweetly, or the grind of an industrial machine, the roar of the crowd at a hundred thousand seat stadium, or a couple of people clapping politely at someone on the stage of a dark, nearly empty space. It has a beginning and an end, yet it still remains infinite...

Friday
TGIF? Actually I'm totally exhausted and I've got a lot of stuff going on this weekend. So much for any kind of rest! Seems like I've been going around in circles over the last couple of weeks. Maybe a roadtrip is in order!

Can't Think of Anything to Say
It's a rainy night and a bit cold outside, so I'm thinking about winter coming and the Holidays and all that. I'm really just disillusioned and maybe listening to Ben Folds covering The Cure is not the answer. "Yesterday I got so old I felt like I could die..." I'm psyched for the weekend, even though I'll be spending most of it packing.

Class Update, Top Five for Today
Last night we started learning about product lighting, which seems a bit weird. Maybe it's just too difficult of a topic for a beginners lighting class, but I'm ready for it, I think! Next week we put it into practice, actually shooting a product of our choice. I still need to get into the studio, but have yet to find a (victim) volunteer.
Top Five for Today
1- "Going to California"- Led Zeppelin
2- "Home By the Sea"- Genesis
3- "Amsterdam"- Guster
4- "Sister Havana"- Urge Overkill
5- "I Woke Up In a Strange Place"- Jeff Buckley
Honorable Mention
"Fortunate Son"- John Fogerty
