Went to the music store and played through a vintage Echoplex. I'd never seen one in person before, just read about them in old guitar magazines. I was playing some spacey, Pink Floyd type stuff, and a bit of sound on sound like Robert Fripp. It was really cool to mess around with, but I couldn't take it home. The price tag wouldn't allow it to fit in my budget, especially since I didn't win the lottery last week. Maybe I should find myself a 'Sugar Mama' to buy me one!
Just Picked This Up
Bought a copy of this at the newsstand yesterday. If I spent as much time on my music as I spend reading music magazines, I'd finally finish something!

Keeping Myself Busy
Been spending quite a bit of time away from the computer, so I haven't posted much lately. I've also been working on some new music, so stay tuned for more info on that. I just need to take some time for myself every now and then.

Steelers Go To The Super Bowl
There is justice in the football world, those horrible Denver Broncos go home and a deserving Pittsburgh team represents the AFC in Detroit!

I'm Trying To Stay Optimistic, But...
The palm of my hand has been itching for the last couple of days (Doesn't that mean that you're coming into money?) So I bought a couple of lottery tickets and, nothing. So much for that. I've still got this girl on my mind and it's been like hell waiting to just hear her voice or look into her eyes again. Compounding all the issues at work and I'm left wondering why I even bother getting out of bed in the morning. But something wonderful is going to happen soon, right?

Quiet, Windy Sunday
Snowy, windy, the Pats out of the playoffs, I guess winter has returned to NE. The bitter cold has done nothing to chill the warmth in my heart for a girl who obviously doesn't want shit to do with me! I'm finally writing scenes, so my story is coming along. I guess I should be thankful for that.

Gainfully Employed (for now)
Dodged a bullet at the ol' day job today. Seems the drop in the Dow, 50 degree temperatures, impending Friday the 13th, full moon, etc. caused a downturn in sales that caused my company to let a couple of people go. At least they waited until after the holidays this time. This just means I'll have to help pick up the slack (as if I'm not stressed out enough!)

I Can't Believe I'm Writing Again
I've been trying to keep this to myself because it's been awhile. This whole situation with Megan got me started and it's just pouring out of me at this point. I'm almost done with the treatment for my story. It's been a positive experience, so far. If I don't hear from her again, she's helped me through my block and to that I am eternally grateful.

Unbelievable! A Drop Kick?
Doug Flutie does what nobody in the NFL has done for over sixty years. The first successful drop kick since 1941 comes in the fourth quarter of yesterdays loss to the Miami Dolphins.
