Rough Week

Wow, the weather went from like 60° to like 80° overnight. Then I find out a friend died. Now the joint pain in my knee is acting up again. Good thing I've got a few days off to recover.
On the other hand, things are going well. I've been shooting pictures, working on music, spring cleaning, drawing, and anything else I can come up with to take my mind off the above.

Listening to: (For HB)

David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars
Talking Heads - The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads
Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.
Afro Celt Sound System - "When You're Falling" (feat. Peter Gabriel)
Iggy Pop - Lust For Life
Porcupine Tree - "Even Less"

Don't Know What To Say......

Just found out a good friend passed away recently. It's difficult to put into words what I'm thinking, because I have so many memories. Maybe I'll have something later.

Not much going on.....

I finally got around to registering for a summer class today, almost a month afterthey started. Maybe I'll end up taking the summer off! I haven't processed all the photos I took for my spring class yet, so I've really been slacking. Of course I have the excuse that I was sick a couple of weeks ago, which reminds me. Somebody left a couple of nice comments when I was sick and I totally forgot to acknowledge them. If you're still reading this, thank you!

Feels Like Seattle!

Another dreary day, I'm beginning to think the rain will never stop. And I was looking forward to shooting outside this weekend. So much for that idea, maybe next weekend will cooperate!

At least I'm stuck inside due to bad weather instead of the illness that plagued me the last couple of weeks! Now I feel I should be doing something constructive.

Listening To:

Even though I'm starting to hate these sort of posts, I feel somewhat obligated to write them, since they're what I started out doing. Besides, I was sick most of last week. Just about all I did involved listening to music.

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
The Subways - Young For Eternity (Discovered through iTunes)
Billy Bragg & Wilco - Mermaid Avenue
The Del Fuegos - Best Of: The Slash Years (mid '80's Boston area band, bought they're record on vinyl when I was twelve!)
World Party - Private Revolution ("Ship Of Fools" -loaned this to some chick back in college, never saw either again! FFWD to 2006- found the remastered CD at one of the few great independent record stores left in the area!)
