Even though I'm starting to hate these sort of posts, I feel somewhat obligated to write them, since they're what I started out doing. Besides, I was sick most of last week. Just about all I did involved listening to music.
Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
The Subways - Young For Eternity (Discovered through iTunes)
Billy Bragg & Wilco - Mermaid Avenue
The Del Fuegos - Best Of: The Slash Years (mid '80's Boston area band, bought they're record on vinyl when I was twelve!)
World Party - Private Revolution ("Ship Of Fools" -loaned this to some chick back in college, never saw either again! FFWD to 2006- found the remastered CD at one of the few great independent record stores left in the area!)

At least you got something out of being ill--listening to music doesn't mean all was lost...
