No kidding--I didn't know they made it in Davisville. About time, too, and done without Cianci's connections--I'm not sure who to praise on this one.

To be honest, I was just thrilled that someone else knew what Channel 10 News was. I just heard about Doug White, too (I'm out of the country) and what a sad loss he is. We'll miss that hair--did you ever see Bousquet's cartoons referring to him? Hilarious.

Finally made it out of line at the bank, I see. Doug White is sadly missed around these parts. The cartoons were funny, but I saw a clip of when he was at some sort of function where Charlie Hall (of Ocean State Follies) introduced him on stage and messed up his hair.

Brilliant--I hope he took that well. Bousquet did two I remember that highlighted Doug White's hair--one was labeled "Doug White: 7 AM" and had a guy with extreme messed-up hair sitting up in bed, and the other--and I am not remembering the image well--had something to do with a substitute news anchor annoucing that Doug White had the night off because he "fell down and broke his hair." I was so surprised what I heard he had died. I have watched him anchor on channel 10 news since I was literally about 4 years old. That man really was RI. At least we still have Jack Reed.
