Five Years...

Five years ago today, a terrible tragedy occurred in New York City, Washington DC, and a field in Pennsylvania. Thing I'll remember most is how blue the sky was that day. Never mind that my brother was probably boarding his flight to Chicago as the terrorists arrived at Logan Airport. Fortunately, he arrived safely and was on the tarmac aboard his connecting flight when the planes were grounded. Thousands of families were not as fortunate, their loved ones perished in the events of the day. Much has been said and written so I don't feel the need to go into details. The aftermath of these events makes me wonder if the world can ever recover.
